Our staff is trained to comply with federal (FDCPA, HIPAA/HITECH) and state laws concerning debtors’ and patients’ rights, thereby giving our clients the protection they can expect from a law firm. Our attorneys are skilled litigators who are keenly aware of our clients’ legal interests as well as their public relations image. Additionally, we are well versed in our clients’ Charity Care Policies and apply them as appropriate.

We coordinate with our attorneys and our Denial Management and Medicaid Departments to determine that all avenues of payment are exhausted on each and every claim. Miller & Milone, P.C., makes every effort to resolve claims before recommending suit.

Our staff is knowledgeable in skip tracing and asset location, and is able to pursue all avenues of judgment enforcement available under New York State law. We maintain excellent working relationships with Sheriffs and Marshals with regard to the judgments we have obtained.

Our attorneys are members of several Bar Associations and regularly attend legal education seminars to keep abreast of new developments and changes. In addition, we are members of and are actively involved with HFMA (Healthcare Financial Management Association), the nation’s leading membership organization for healthcare finance management executives and leaders.
