Ross Steele, Esq., Director, Process Improvement – May 2015
As part of a cross-functional team, Mr. Steele’s area of focus is the on-going development, implementation, and monitoring of programs and analytic infrastructures that enhance the Firm’s ability to provide strategic services to its clients. In addition, Mr. Steele utilizes his legal and regulatory experience with claim adjudication, claim processing, managed care contracting, and False Claims Act provisions to further the Firm’s goal of providing customized solutions to the myriad revenue-related challenges faced by the healthcare industry. Mr. Steele is the Firm’s Compliance Officer for federal and state patient privacy laws and chairs the firm’s HIPAA Compliance Committee.
Mr. Steele holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Washington State University where he graduated from the Honors College. He received his Juris Doctor, with an academic concentration in Health Law, from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Steele served as a Senior Fellow for the Gitenstein Institute for Health Law and Policy. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, and New Jersey Bar Association. Mr. Steele is licensed to practice in the states of New York and New Jersey.
