Sara O’Connor, Esq., Associate – April 2012

Ms. O’Connor handles Article 81 Guardianships, prepares Advance Directives, and assists with applications for Medicaid.  She drafts legal documentation to initiate Guardianship proceedings and attends Guardianship Hearings.  In addition, she attends Fair Hearings for hospital, nursing home, and private clients and assists in matters related to Guardianship and Medicaid as they impact institutional clients.  Ms. O’Connor also assists clients with probate, estate administration and estate planning matters.

Ms. O’Connor was a volunteer attorney at New York Mental Hygiene Legal Service prior to joining the Firm.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law.  Ms. O’Connor is licensed to practice in the state of New York.
